DRUM LESSONS

PK has conducted Drum Lesson Sessions out of his home studio located in Old Mt. Pleasant since 2004.

The studio is a comfortable acoustic space where you and PK can give undivided attention to your learning and playing. Best of all, the studio is situated in a standalone building so that you can play as loud as you would like!
PK has a large selection of instruments for you to use in the studio; usually some 40 different snares, toms, and base drums to choose from!
Best of all is that when you choose PK as your instructor, you get 4 personal one-on-one lessons, each of a 30 minute duration and specific for your skill level, all for the low cost of only $130!
Needing a good gift for a budding musician? Give them a Gift Certificate for lessons!

PK understands that not just anyone is suitable or good at teaching people to play instruments! If you would like to hear more about how well Patrick does as a teacher, below are some references for you:

DRUM SALES

In his 40 years of playing drums, PK has discovered that he has both a passion and a talent for buying and selling drum equipment.

Playing and dealing in a large variety of drums over time, PK is always on the lookout for a good bargain for quality or unusual (or both!) equipment.

As a result, he now has a fairly large stock of drum and percussion instruments consisting of various vintage and new drums, hardware and cymbals for the beginner or professionals.

Give PK a call if you are looking for a percussion instrument for yourself, or as a gift for your favorite drummer!

About Patrick “PK” Korson

Patrick began playing drums at the age of 10, played in the marching band at the age of 13 and has been playing live music for over 30 years in locations like Charlotte, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, and now Charleston.

While he has played on demos/cds and in the studio, PK’s real love is in the realm of live performance.

Currently Patrick plays local with several churches in the area. You can see him perform nearly every Sunday morning at Holy Cross on Sullivan’s Island, and also in a local party band, Minimum Wage.
